Hockey Equipment Swap - Saturday, September 29, 2012
Every year the Chiller Ice Rinks accept donations of used hockey equipment for the annual Hockey Equipment Swap. This Equipment Swap gives hockey players the opportunity to purchase new
and used equipment such as skates, helmets, pants, gloves, shoulder pads
and more for fractions of the normal cost. This year, the equipment swap will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the OhioHealth Chiller North from noon-3 p.m. All proceeds raised will be specifically dedicated back to the hockey community. Click here to read more about the 2012 Hockey Equipment Swap.
Also, anyone donating used equipment will receive a voucher for two FREE Blue Jackets pre-season tickets. If you have any questions about the swap, please contact Mason Fisher with the Blue Jackets at mfisher@bluejackets.com or 614.246.3730.
Equipment Bank
The Blue Jackets Foundation plays an active role to break the barrier to entry by making hockey more accessible and affordable to all. The Equipment Bank has been established to provide a bag full of equipment to all kids interested in participating in the sport. It seeks to foster the development of youth hockey by lending youth hockey equipment to skaters in need to enable them to participate in the junior jackets hockey program.
