The Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation are dedicated to promoting education within the Central Ohio community through various educational initiatives.
The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation has dedicated 25% of its annual proceeds to the growth and support of amateur hockey in Columbus. Each season, a portion of these proceeds are specifically earmarked for an educational scholarship for a graduating high school senior. Read more.
The Columbus Blue Jackets Book Jackets program is a literary initiative powered by AEP, established in 2000, to encourage students in grades K-8 to spend more of their free time reading. Students keep "score" of minutes read throughout a 4-week reading period and are rewarded with Blue Jackets prizes upon completion. Read more.
